By Folu Agoi, PhD
How I love this city, towering
Hulk hailed as Home of Wisdom
Seasoned teacher teaching wisdom
Hyping smartness, cuddling creativity;
Love it
Or leave it
That is Lagos
Good old Lagos
Lovely like a bride
Striking like a peacock
African pride, city of colour
Towering Babel, nay, rainbow
Giant rainbow winking, smiling
Cheering souls coming and going
Coming and going like waist beads
Many going in a child, coming
Out an adult.
