Inter-Service Synergy: EX-JAM Association President-General Ahmed Mimi Heads To Nigerian Military School (NMS) Zaria.

In continuation of his effort towards stronger inter-service cooperation and military education excellence, the President-General of the EX-JAM Association Ahmed Mimi is scheduled to pay an official courtesy visit to the Commandant of the Nigerian Military School (NMS), Zaria, on the 10th of March 2026.

The visit, which forms a core part of the President-General’s statutory work tour, aims to establish a unique and historic synergy between the Nigerian Military School (NMS), Zaria and the Air Force Military School (AFMS), Jos – two premier academic and military training institutions of the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Air Force respectively.

CORE OBJECTIVES

  • Deepening Institutional Collaboration
  • Strengthening Alumni Networks
  • Pioneering Exchange Programmes

The primary purpose of the visit is to bring together these service-specific institutions to explore avenues for shared academic and military development.

A key outcome of this synergy will also set in motion formal collaboration between the alumni associations of the military schools, fostering a united and welfare oriented alumni community dedicated to the advancement of military academic excellence, regimentation and discipline.

The President-General will formally request the establishment of reciprocal inter-school exchange programmes for military courses between the two institutions.

The long-term vision for this initiative is profound:

To create a cohesive training curricular for future leaders who will assume leadership positions in the Armed Forces of Nigeria and other critical sectors of the nation. This early collaboration is seen as vital for building inter-service understanding and unity at the highest levels of command.

The EX-JAM PG’s visit marks another deliberate step towards a more integrated and collaborative Nigerian military structure, starting at the foundational level of training and alumni engagement.
